Performing ECG analysis

Zaktualizowano18 czerwca 2025

With Aidlab, you can easily record an ECG to gain insights into your heart's electrical activity and overall behavior.

Aidlab continuously monitors your ECG in the background whenever you’re wearing it. The signal is automatically filtered, and low-quality segments — caused by intense movement or excessive noise — are discarded to ensure accurate analysis.

To view your ECG data

  1. Open the Aidlab app and log in to your account.

  2. Pair with your Aidlab if you haven't already.

  3. Go to the Dashboard tab and tap the button in the top-right corner.

  4. Add the Electrocardiogram component to your dashboard.

Understanding ECG with Aidlab

ECG (or EKG) measures the electrical signals that control your heartbeats. Aidlab records these signals and presents them as a graph, giving you and your doctor insight into your heart’s rhythm and performance.

Aidlab classifies heartbeats into:

  • Normal
  • Premature ventricular contractions
  • Premature or ectopic supraventricular beats
  • Fusion beats
  • Bundle branch block beats
  • Other beats (unclassified or noise)

It also classifies heart rhythms as:

  • Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
  • Tachycardia (fast heart rate)
  • Atrial fibrillation

Important: Aidlab does not provide automatic ECG interpretation. The rhythm classifications and findings are informational only and must be reviewed and interpreted by a qualified healthcare professional.

What an ECG can reveal

An ECG can show:

  • If your heart is beating at a normal rate and rhythm
  • Signs of arrhythmias
  • Electrical abnormalities that could suggest heart disease

However, an ECG taken with Aidlab is a screening tool and should not replace a professional medical evaluation.

Important information

  • Aidlab does not detect heart attacks. If you experience chest pain, pressure, shortness of breath, or symptoms of a heart attack, call emergency services immediately.
  • Always consult your doctor before making changes to your medications or treatment plan.
  • ECG analysis data retention: 30 days. Your ECG analysis data and events are automatically retained for 30 days to ensure optimal performance and storage management.
