Industrial Designer

We are looking for an industrial designer who has already taken physical products into production and can show a real track record of launches that shipped successfully.

This role is for a military project, so standards, reliability, documentation, and disciplined decision-making matter from day one.

You will work closely with our hardware engineer on enclosure, fit, manufacturability, and the trade-offs that appear when a product needs to survive both production and field use.

The role is online. Experience with wearables or other compact electronics products is strongly preferred.

What you will do

• Own the industrial design direction from concept through production handoff.
• Turn hardware, manufacturing, and standards constraints into clean product decisions.
• Prepare production-ready design assets and supplier-facing documentation.
• Work closely with engineering to resolve tolerance, assembly, and usability issues early.

What we need from you

• Proven track record of bringing physical products to production successfully.
• Experience working with standards-driven or highly constrained products.
• Strong understanding of DFM, tolerances, materials, and supplier communication.
• Comfort collaborating daily with hardware engineering.
• Wearables experience is preferred.
