Aidlab supports Health Connect on Android, so you can use Health Connect as a central place for your workouts and health metrics.
What syncs with Health Connect
Aidlab can read and work with a broader set of Android health data from Health Connect, including:
- workouts
- heart rate
- resting heart rate
- SpO₂
- respiratory rate
- blood glucose
- blood pressure
- calories
- weight
- distance
- steps
- floors climbed
When permissions are granted, Aidlab can also write selected workout data back to Health Connect.
How to enable Health Connect in Aidlab
- Install or update the Health Connect app on your Android device.
- Open Aidlab.
- Go to Settings and open Permissions or Health.
- Choose Health Connect and grant the permissions you want to use.
- Return to Aidlab and wait a moment for the app to refresh available data.
What to expect
- Health Connect availability depends on your Android version and whether the Health Connect app is installed.
- Some data may appear only after the source app or device has synced it to Health Connect.
- If a metric is missing, first check permissions in both Aidlab and Health Connect.
Troubleshooting
If Health Connect data does not appear in Aidlab:
- Make sure Health Connect is installed and up to date.
- Check that the relevant read or write permissions are enabled for Aidlab.
- Reopen Aidlab after changing permissions.
- If workout or metric data still does not show up, confirm that another app or device has already written that data to Health Connect.
