Before wearing Aidlab on your chest, it must be paired with your smartphone (iOS or Android) or compatible smartwatch.
Connect Aidlab to your smartphone
Pairing lets Aidlab send data to your smartphone and synchronize measurements. Once connected, you can use the app to view live values, review trends, check workout history, and export data.
Steps to connect Aidlab to your smartphone
- Enable Bluetooth: turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and keep it close to Aidlab.
- Turn on Aidlab: press and hold the power button on Aidlab for 1 second.
- Check the LED: fast pulsing means Aidlab is on and ready to pair.
- Pair through the app: open the Aidlab app and tap Install Device to start pairing.
- Confirm pairing: once paired, the green LED will pulse slowly.
Connect Aidlab to your smartwatch
Aidlab uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), so it can connect to smartwatches that support external heart rate sensors. This lets you see live heart rate during workouts.
Steps to connect Aidlab to your smartwatch
- Activate Aidlab: wear Aidlab on the chest strap and make sure it is turned on.
- Open your smartwatch settings:
- Navigate to Settings > Sensors or Add External Device (depending on your smartwatch model).
- Search for devices:
- Your smartwatch will start scanning for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select Aidlab:
- Once Aidlab appears in the list of devices, tap to connect.
- Confirm the connection:
- Your smartwatch will display a confirmation message, and your real-time heart rate will appear during your activity or workout screen.
Compatible smartwatches
Aidlab can connect to most smartwatches that support BLE heart rate sensors. Below are examples of compatible devices:
- Amazfit: GTR 4, GTR 3, T-Rex 2
- Huawei: Watch GT4, Watch GT3
- Garmin: Fenix 7, Forerunner series (models supporting BLE sensors), Venu 2
- Polar: Vantage V2, Ignite series, Grit X
- Coros: Pace 2, Apex Pro, Vertix 2
- Suunto: Suunto 9 Peak, Suunto 5 Peak
- Apple Watch: Series 4 and newer
- Wahoo: Elemnt Rival
- Fitbit: Sense, Versa 3/4
Some devices, such as Garmin and Fitbit, also support ANT+ for external sensors. Make sure your model supports BLE connections.
